My path into construction began during college in Berlin, where I remodeled 18th- and 19th-century homes and apartments. I loved the challenge of blending modern interiors with the rustic character of historic buildings—preserving what made them special while making them work for today.
After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I built my first off-grid cabin near Olympia with a friend. That experience reshaped how I think about homes. When energy, comfort, and durability truly matter, every decision counts—from insulation and air sealing to materials and layout. Efficiency isn’t a trend; it’s the foundation of a home that performs well for decades.
Today, through Quad Construction Inc., we bring that same mindset to every project in the Columbia River Gorge. Our role as a general contractor is to connect design with reality, manage details with care, and protect quality from start to finish.

The Bingen Surf Mill is a repurposed 1926 building revitalized as the West Coast headquarters for Goya Windsurfing, KT and Quatro.
